- Caucasian teen-age girl with red hair. Not just red hair, as in orange or “ginger”. Crimson. It fell straight to her shoulders, with wiry, unnatural consistency.
- 40’ish black woman. Full, wavy hair. A white top, mini skirt, and gogo boots, with purple scarf and purple leggings.
- Skinny black guy comes on and yells at the top of his lungs. “I am Mr. Positivity…”; he begins to peddle fragrances.
- Thirtyish black woman comes on, announces she is an artist, a singer, wishes us a Happy New Year, and then proceeds to belt a stirring rendition of Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come.”
I gave her money.
